At Call of the River we have a 125' fishing dock to fish for sockeye,
rainbow trout, and dolly varden. We provide a freezer for your
fish and a large fish cleaning area. You provide any fishing
gear. If you prefer, we have local processors who can take care
of your fish.
We book with experienced fishing guides and fly-in trips with a 30 day
advanced notice (Salmon and Halibut)
Fishing for Kings is great in May and Early June on the Kasiloff and
the Kenai Rivers. The biggest salmon caught on the Kenai was in
May, weighing 97 pounds!
Sport fishermen come to the Kenai in large numbers in July.
It is not unusual to see many other boats and fishermen on the river
at this time (there are close to 400 guides using the river systems).
If you prefer smaller crowds we suggest coming in May, June, or
September. We offer reduced rates during those months, and the
weather is very nice. The guides we use do their best to help
you have a great fishing experience; but remember the fish can be
unpredictable.
